Tallow and Olive Oil are in equal proportions, giving this soap fantastic longevity and excellent moisturizing properties. The poppy seeds are the perfect amount of exfoliation if you prefer to rub the bar directly on your skin. Closer to 5 oz than 4.

How it’s Made
Ingredients:
Tallow, Olive Oil, Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)*, Avocado Oil, Lemongrass Essential Oil, Poppy Seeds, Bergamot Essential Oil, Balsam Fir Needle Essential Oil
*There is never Lye left in the finished soap. A really wonderful chemical transformation happens when making old-fashioned soap, and I always add extra oils and butters to ensure that my soaps are not lye-heavy. This soap has a 5% superfat. It is well suited for normal to oily skin.
