"The Local" Soap

I've dreamed that this is the soap my Grandmother would have made. I have never been able to find her recipe, but she was a farm wife, and Mother tells me she used hog lard left from butchering. I really wanted to highlight the local ingredients that went into this lovely soap. Raw local honey and local beeswax, alongside the goats milk, gives it this golden color and a lovely, bubbly lather. Lard makes a fabulous, moisturizing soap, even more so than Tallow. If you or someone you love has really dry or extremely sensitive skin, this soap is a great choice.
